Blaze was ADBA & UKC Registered. She was Dagger and Colby Heinzl bloodlines and weighed 81lbs. and stood 19 inches tall. She was one of the nicest females I've ever seen! She produced outstanding puppies! Blaze had a beautiful temperment to match her features. She was one of the most special pitbulls to have ever lived. She made a huge impression on everyone she met, we were proud to take her anywhere! She loved everyone, and certainly did not have one mean bone in her body! She was as much devoted to our family as we were to her. We were devistated when we lost her on Dec. 17, 2004. She was halfway through her second pregnancy and was having difficulty eating. After many trips to the vet/vets, blood tests, ultrasounds, and X-rays we could not figure out what was wrong. She was completely wasting away before our very eyes! Our last resort was emergency surgery to open her stomach to see what was causing the problem, we never thought we would loose her! Blaze died because she swallowed my sons pacifier and it finally made its way to her intestinal track (withn the last 2 days). She had significant lacerations to her stomach and 18inches of her intestines. There was nothing we could do to save her. She was not just a "dog" but a family member. You could not put a price on how much she meant to us. She will always be remembered in our hearts and this page is dedicated to the memory of such a truly magnificent American Pit Bull Terrier. She was exactly the opposite of what the general public thinks of pitbulls. We want everyone to know how much she meant to us and what she represented in our breeding program. All of our dogs here have a place in our family they are not just used for breeding. May God Bless her and she rest in peace. We miss you!!!
